Chapter -24

24.CAN YOU GIVE IMPORTANCE OF SMALL CREATURES LIKE ANTS AS MUCH AS HUMANS?

Ant, a small creature more diligent than all creatures. Ants do not have a specific goal; they just do everything they can to survive in their ability. They have a family in which a queen ant is like the head of a family. A queen ant is the largest. Its important job is to lay eggs; it lays thousands of eggs. The male ant’s body is small. The queen ant dies a few days after she is pregnant. The other ants’ job is to bring food, care for children, and build a colony house. Also, the work of guard ants is to protect the house. She can lift many times more than her body weight. They have a beautiful and small world of their own. In an ant there are all those elements which are present in other creatures. They have their own little nerve system through which they feel things. Let’s talk about importance of small creatures like ants.

They have enormous influence in the world environment, which is closely studied by the Pipilicologists. Pupilology or Myrmecology is the branch of entomology in which the scientific study of ant and termites is done. Pipilicists also study the society of ants and its organization and processes. Pipelogy is important in insect studies, but the mutual interaction of ants is also used in computing as a theoretical paradigm in fields like machine learning and parallel computing.

The ant’s brain is considered to be the fastest among insects. It contains about 250,000 brain cells.

Actually ants can’t hear because they don’t have ears. Although these organisms can feel the sound by vibrating. To listen to the surrounding sound, they rely on special sensors in the knees and feet. What is the necessity to study about importance of small creatures like ants? Would you consider this?

Ants have two stomachs. One has food for one’s own body and the other has food for the other ants living in the colony.

Every colony of ants has a fixed boundary. They are constantly trying to expand their limits. If this happens, a war breaks out which often lasts for several hours or sometimes even for several weeks.

Perhaps you know all these things in advance, this is even better.

If you pay attention to a particular point, you will see that the social life of ants matches quite a few humans. Can you guess how many times your body weight will be the weight of an ant. Perhaps will be millions of times. A human being considers himself to be the most intelligent. If the nervous system of ants equal to your weight is mixed together, then they will be the most intelligent creatures in the world. Ants have certain types of sensors installed that keep them informed about changes in the surrounding environment. Ants complete all their tasks before it rains. These special sensors are receptive to a special type of energy; this energy keeps touching every living thing in the whole universe. This is divine energy. If ants do not face any external crisis, then their life span is much longer. The queen ant can live for 20 years.

Our special discussion today is about whether you can give importance to this small creature as much as humans? But you have no benefit from ants, so why think about it, right? I cannot force you into this. The basic element useful in the creation of you and an ant is the same, there is the same energy with which you are also alive and this ant also, the same soul (energy) maintains life in both the organisms. It struggles to live in night and day without stopping. If you look at a small creature like ant carefully, you will always find a target associated with them. These will be kept moving for a specific purpose every moment.

If you include ant or other creatures in your thinking process then you will move towards a specific life, you can focus more on your goal by giving more importance to your time. Thinking about a particular person may give you different types of advice and techniques to work on, but your ability to be autistic will not change much. It can be transient. But if you try to learn something by looking at an ant, then it will fill you with a never ending struggle, and it can happen for life. Because it will take your thinking and attitude. When you reflect on something inanimate or non-speaking, then the store of hidden knowledge opens inside you and it is the most important knowledge. But if you think about a person and get advice from him, then he will try to follow your own ideals and rules, whatever your circumstances may be and hence you will be troubled. This is why you may have to spend a lot of time to succeed

You can learn from an ant; it can give you more important lessons than humans.

Summary: Importance of small creatures like ants

In this reflective chapter, the author invites us to learn from one of the smallest yet most remarkable creatures—**the ant**. Despite its size, an ant displays discipline, intelligence, teamwork, and resilience. With a structured society, specific roles, and incredible survival instincts, ants teach us the power of persistence and silent struggle.

The chapter goes beyond biology, drawing parallels between human and ant societies. Ants may not have ears, but they detect vibrations. They have two stomachs—one for themselves and one for their colony. Their actions are guided by a deeper energy, the same divine energy that sustains human life. Despite their insignificance to many, they embody the essence of hard work and purposeful living.

We are reminded that wisdom can come from the most unexpected places—not always from people, but sometimes from creatures who do not speak at all. When we learn from nature’s simplicity, we unlock a more humble, focused, and resilient version of ourselves.
