Chapter – 18

18. RESTRAINT IN SPEAKING, SEEING AND HEARING: BUILDING UP A BETTER LIFE

Your own vision is that you lead a successful and happy life. That is why you are currently trying to groom yourself. But sometimes your dreams remain incomplete due to your own mistakes. Although external things also mislead you, your own contribution is the highest. Do you believe this? Think, whose fault was in all the tasks you had left incomplete till date. sorry! May be all your tasks are completed well. If you have not, then you accept your mistake, and it can be a good start. One formula of success is also to consider and accept your mistakes first. Let’s talk about why Restraint in speaking and other things are necessary for a successful life.

Three things that can happen simultaneously – speaking, listening and watching. These things along with your feelings easily convey every aspect of life to the people, and at the same time you are also able to become aware of people’s feelings; Is not it. We will try to understand all three things differently. I want to ask you a question – have you ever felt that you should not have said this, should not have seen this, or heard this. I think something must have happened to you. If you are still small then these things can be important for you, you always keep these things with you.

Restraint in speaking:-

Speaking is a complex process involving many processes. It includes physical processes as well as, chemical and emotional processes. In speaking, a good amount of energy is also burnt. Speaking is very important for health, but speaking more can be more dangerous than that. You must have seen how people say what they say in order to show themselves superior. Lie to hide their mistakes; Is not it. Some people speak more than necessary just to make themselves smarter, but they do not know that the person who believes in himself, and is honest about his work is always calm. His only goal for him is everything until he succeeds. There is absolutely no sign of being smart that you have full enjoyment in what you have today and first of all put your point everywhere. I think smart is the soul who is satisfied and believes in listening more than speaking.

If I ask you your experience, then perhaps you will know how much you regretted by that small mistake, a small thing. By speaking, our body consumes a lot of energy, speaking more may increase your talking efficiency but can also cause damage. Just talking important and accurate things is the hallmark of a very intelligent person. If you do not speak much, then you will not listen too much. You can start it from your home. When you are talking to someone, then give him an opportunity to speak. Give him enough time to tell his whole thing. But I have seen that more people talk before they hear the whole thing in front of them, and this is the beginning of misunderstandings between each other. It is very important that you understand each other properly. You speak less but speak better in a beautiful voice. Make yourself a speaker so that people feel good talking to you. People will feel good then they will be satisfied and a positive energy will flow in you.

Choosing the right words while speaking can create a different identity for you. So you have to read good books, collect good words, and use them in conversation. I do not mean here at all that you do not speak, you speak but do not put yourself in any trouble.

 To Listen: –

Listening is also a complex process and your ears are responsible for it. The ears, whose internal morphology is somewhat more complex than the rest of the organs. Biological, physical and chemical changes also occur in the process of listening. The sound you hear is felt by your brain. Your ears are just the recipients of sound. Your ears cannot differentiate between good and bad things. It just depends on your thinking and alertness what you like to hear with your ears. You consider what you hear, if these are good things, then take it positively and if there are negative things then it will not take long to change your own thoughts in your brain. You will speak your thoughts and thus a process of conversation will begin in which everyone will try to show their ability. There may be quarrels or battles or it may be something else. Thus, restraint in speaking is essential to live a blissful life like the rest.

 To see: –

Just like Restraint in speaking Restraint is seeing is also important. You have two eyes on your face; Is not it. Why? Is it to enhance your face? We need to see, be able to see well the things of good and evil, differentiate between them. The way your brain regulates the process of speaking and listening, the process of seeing is also controlled by the brain. Seeing is also a complex process. Your eye cannot distinguish itself from good or evil, but your mind is responsible for what you see and what not to see. You look bad, don’t blame the eyes for this. Do you know that philosophers experience bliss by looking at things around them?

If you keep your vision in moderation, then you can avoid seeing some unnecessary things. When you see less of things, then you will also have less thoughts towards them. If unnecessary thoughts are not formed, then there will be no difficulty in your brain to focus on a different subject. You must have noticed that a person who is blind, has some additional qualification; Isn’t it. I am not asking you to be blind but you can make yourself a great person. Just keep a check on things. It is very important.

Sobriety in seeing through the eyes of imagination:

Imagination is our way of thinking. Before a specific task is completed, we make a vision of it. There is no point in whether the work can be completed or not. It is very important to have imaginations in the self-development process. But can it also be harmful? absolutely! It depends what you are thinking about. Imagination takes you to another world. If you do not keep your circumstances, abilities in mind while imagining, then it can have a bad effect on you. You drown in the ocean of imagination, but you immerse yourself with your present. Do not forget to take your present with you. Have you ever been sad that what you thought did not happen to create a beautiful future? It must have been sad, and if it is not sad, you are a successful person, I congratulate you. Why did you feel sad? Because you did not make a future vision with your present in mind or you may have changed your circumstances by coming to worldly attractions in the time of struggle. This change is your present today. Restrain your imagination to create a better future.
